This privacy policy describes how the Ayrshire Food Group ("we", "us") collects, protects and uses the personally identifiable information you may provide through the website . The policy also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.
What information do we collect?
Account information: If you register for this service, you will be asked to enter your name, business details, and email address. Your email address must be valid as we will communicate with you through this.
We will never ask for a password to use our service, or any other password.
We do NOT record the IP address you use during time on the website. However our web server logs which include the IP address of every request to our server -- they are not identifiable to individuals user names.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:
- The email address you provide will be used to send you information, notifications, newsletters, and other emails relevant to the Food and Drink industry in Ayrshire.
- We may also share your Business name, address, and email with your Local Authority within Ayrshire (East, North, or South). This information will be shared for use in relation to food and drink communications and services from the Local Authority that may be of relevance to your business.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. Among other things, the traffic between your browser and us is secured with SSL.
What is our data retention policy?
We will make a good faith effort to:
